r4d Forum 2016 Public Health
More than 50 participants attended the r4d Forum 2016 Public Health at Château de Bossey, Bogis-Bossey, Switzerland, from 17 to 18 March 2016. Highlights on the two days were the project presentations of the three projects in the thematic module Public Health and three projects of the first wave of the thematically open research module. The keynotes addressing the science-policy interface by Hassan Mshinda (Director General, Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology) and by Labinot Demaj (University of St. Gallen) framed the group work on pathways to impact. The keynote of Alicia O'Cathain (University of Sheffield) on mixed methods approaches and their challenges and opportunities spurred a lively and highly relevant discussion.
For more information on the projects see the Public Health module site .
The thematically open research module projects Disability and Technology , e-POCT , and Modelling spatio-temporal dynamics of Malaria were also presented.
