The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) jointly bear the strategic responsibility for the Swiss Programme for Research on Global Issues for Development. The two partner organisations have formed a steering committee for the purpose of managing and supervising the programme. The SNSF is responsible for implementation.
Review panels composed of international experts will supervise the thematic research modules and the thematically open module and support the projects being conducted. The criteria of scientific quality and developmental relevance are of equal importance for the selection and evaluation of projects.
